Catholics Go Here

Consider These Things
Avoid the Great Tribulation

The following is a letter emailed to a kind Catholic lady.   I worry so much about people who might be “left behind” to suffer in the Great Tribulation.  The Catholic people are some of the most wonderful Christians on the face of the earth but the Bible warns about some behaviors that might potentially cause them, because of their practices, to be “cast into” the Great Tribulation.    I pray I am wrong, but my heart strongly tells me … I’m not.

As noted in an article I recently read on another site regarding prayer to or through Mary:

We are not to pray to her, hail her or seek anything from God through Mary.

1 Timothy 2:5 says: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” It is Jesus Christ who is our advocate with God The Father.

Jesus is our High Priest who we take our prayers too.

I could not have said this better myself.  Glory to Jesus.

Please prayerfully consider this email below:

This letter was a response to a nice lady who mentioned she is Catholic, mentioned rosary beads and referred to asking Mary for intercessory prayer:

Just to be sure, because you know I am super-passionate about *everyone* making the “rescue mission” (rapture), you do pray to God in Jesus name and talk to Jesus directly right? The reason I am checking on you is because I truly do care.

You are not allowed to say “Hail Mary’s” (that’s a type of prayer to Mary) …. you are calling (hailing her) and asking her to help you “pray” … Jesus considers that “fornication” or “idolatry”. I know that sounds harsh but unfortunately it is critical you realize this.

I don’t want to see ANYONE go into the Great Tribulation … its going to be horrible.

You see,  all of the “saints” are dead people, including the Mother of Jesus Christ … Mary.  Mary is simply a person who died.  So are all the saints.  If you do not confess your sins, and repent directly to the Father, in Jesus Name as it says in the Bible, (or to Jesus directly) you are “running the risk” of being cast into the Great Tribulation.

Many people believe, and I agree, that the Church of Thyatira (in Revelation 2:18) is referring to the people in the Catholic Church (metaphorically).

Here are the verses:

Rev 2:18-23
“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write,

‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
NKJV

“Sexual immorality” is a “metaphor” for praying to idols.  This includes any time you see a priest and confess your sins,  praying “Hail Mary’s” as a type of penance.

You cannot:

  • Confess your sins to a priest
  • Seek a “Saint” to help you pray as an intercessor

This is metaphorical “fornication” before the Lord.

You must pray *directly* to our Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus.  Your relationship must be directly with Jesus Christ in person.

This is a proper prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father,  please in the Name of Jesus,  forgive me of my sins.  I didn’t mean to do that and I promise I won’t do it again. I am asking you to help me with this problem I am having. In Jesus Name I pray …. Amen

You can also pray directly to Jesus if you want.

Dear Holy Lord Jesus, Please forgive me for this and that.

Look at what the scripture says about how to pray.  This is Jesus speaking.

Matt 6:7-13
7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.  For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

(Note vain repetitions .. Mother Mary … Hail Mary … that is what this is referring too)

8 “Therefore do not be like them.  For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.  9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
NKJV

And you should always end a prayer “In Jesus Name” (this is all over Acts and the Gospels)

Here are some prayers that the Lord gave a brother named Larry and people have been emailing me from all over the world on the amazing changes that have happened in their lives.

Rapture Prayers for Purification:
http://tribulation-now.org/rapture-prayers-for-purification/

Please forgive me if you already know all these things, but my heart is breaking for people who don’t know this stuff and might be “left behind”.

God Bless You and again Thank YOU for your wonderful kinds words.   Amen yes the Dimitru Duduman testimony is most astonishing.

Watch out for May 20th. Many people are suggesting it will be a huge global earthquake day … we shall see.

Keep watching and Keep Praying!!
God Bless YOU!!

  1. Hi John,
Mary and the Saints are not dead. They are alive in Heaven. The Body of Christ is his followers on earth as well as the dearly departed in Heaven. Catholics don’t pray to Mary and the Saints. They ask Mary and the Saints to pray for them.

P.S. I Love your website and the work you do.
    Your brother in Christ.
    Michael Callahan
    .

    1. Hi by asking you are praying. Also by asking a “saint”, or Mary you are putting them above Christ.
JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE to pray to, as he can only hear you.
Priest cant forgive your sins as they are sinners just like the rest of us.
Mary was a virgin, when she conceived Christ, but she wasn’t after, because she had other children.

      Rev 18:4-5
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

    2. Right. We must never seek “intercession” from a person other than Jesus.

      Rom 8:34-35
It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
      NKJV

Also the Catholic church has used the idea of “canonization” to honor those who they believe are “saints”. The fact is that any believer in Jesus Christ, who is practicing righteousenes, and repenting of their sins to GOD (directly; see 1 John 1:9) is by the Bible’s definition, a “saint”. The “church” (as the Bible refers to it) is not the Catholic Church but instead are those who love and are obedient to the Father (e.g, the “saints”). It has absolutely nothing to do with denominational definitions. The WORD of God is the ONLY point of reference.

  2. Hi,
So you have never asked someone to pray for you? For instance someone is sick in your family and you say will you pray for them? They are not Father God and you are asking them to pray for you. Also Mary and the Saints are not dead they are more alive then they were here anyone who dies and makes to Heaven are 100% alive.

    God Bless

    1. Hi Mary, yes we are not allowed to commune with the dead (physical death).Deuteronomy 18:11. Talking to Mary, Saints is consider Necromancy which is a sin. Jesus defeated death when He rose on the 3rd day :).

    2. They are NOT saints just because the catholic church says they are. The only TRUE saints are those that have accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior –NOT gone to any one particular church but have had a PERSONAL relation with Jesus.
-ANY person can have this relationship with Jesus IF they:
Admit they are sinners — people who have done even ONE thing wrong. This includes every person that has ever lived on earth — EXCEPT for Jesus. Ask Jesus to forgive their past sins. Ask Jesus to live in their lives and to direct their lives daily. Asks Jesus to forgive their sins on a daily basis as we are still in this world and we will all do things that God considers sin every day. Read and Study the true Word of God daily. Pray daily — Paul says “without ceasing”. Tell others that you meet and your family & friends about the love God has shone the world through the death and resurrection of Jesus. A simply prayer can bring a person into the Kingdom of God — “Dear Father; I know that I have done many things that are wrong. I understand You call these wrong things sin. I know You said I cannot take myself to Heaven because of these sins. I’m sorry for those sins. I ask you to forgive all of those past sins. Thank You for allowing Your Son, Jesus to come to this world and die for MY sins. I accept Jesus as my Personal LORD and SAVIOR right now. I accept Your gift of my salvation. Direct my paths from this moment forward. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen
–Receiving salvation really is this simple. NO purgatory ever existed and without a person accepting Jesus in this simple way, they will not enter the Kingdom of God.
Once a person is in Hell there is NO ESCAPE. The angels do not come and lift you out of the first level of hell–which is where purgatory is taught to be by the catholic church (I was a catholic as a child).
      – Now for the bombshell catholics:
I AM A SAINT. The true saints are the people that have received Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
-Ephesians 3:1-9 I’ve post only verse 8 but you should read the entire section and book for yourself. one good website to do this is http://biblehub.com/ — it has several versions of the Word of God. It also has a search box at the top of the page.
      8 Unto me, who am less than the LEAST OF ALL SAINTS, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Paul was talking about himself being the least of the saint in this book and in others that he wrote he called those he was writing to SAINTS. The true saints are the people that have received Jesus the Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

I pray that you all have a blessed day and that we will meet in Heaven.

      1. Praise God. I would go a step further and suggest that the true “saints” include ONLY those who are practicing righteousness (1 John 3:7) and holiness. Willful and habitually sinners are not truly Christians and many of them will not make it to Heaven. The GATE is narrow. I pray everyone FEARS God and understands this because your eternity depends on it. 1 Peter 4:17 “If a righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the sinner and the ungodly be?”…. Not Heaven!

    3. This behavior is in fact, a sin. It should never be done.

      Rom 8:34-35
It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
      NKJV

You must never seek intercessory prayer from any person who has passed on to heaven for ANY reason.

      God bless you

  3. The bible teaches that “JESUS ” is the only way to “GOD”. 1 Timothy 2:5 (NKJV) For there is one God and “ONE MEDIATOR” between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. So if there is only one Mediator “me·di·a·tor (md-tr) n.1. One that mediates, especially one that reconciles differences between disputants.” Jesus between GOD and us. Then why do we not just believe the word of “GOD”! Also in Ecclesiastes 9:6 Indeed their love, their hate and their zeal have already perished, and they will “NO LONGER” have a share in all that is done under the sun.
Here “GOD” is telling us that when are life on earth is over we can never have part in anything that happens. This includes saints, Mary and uncle joe

Please believe the word of “GOD” and not what’s in our hearts. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

    Praise “GOD”

  4. John: You say that it is wrong to offer confession to a priest and seek forgiveness of sin yet Christ himself gave the apostles the power to bind and lose (Matthew 16:19). Is that not the power to grant forgiveness of sin in the name of Christ?

  5. Being in relationship with Christ is everything. To be holy for he is holy. We all have a spirit, yet only have an eternal soul once you enter into relationship with God by way of the son, and receive the copmforter, the presence of the holy spirit. He decides which gifts of the spirit you need. Those who ask of the father anything allowed in heaven, is given unto us in God’s own time. It has been my experience to watch my own mother develop over the years in her spiritual relationship with God, and who received gifts of the spirit, like tongues, which is for more intimate communication between them. At first, she didn’t want to speak in tongues, but after gentle persistance from the spirit…she did. The first dragon to overcome is the ego. One must first repent and wholeheartedly give over freely to the will of God, without reservation. The ony reason we have anything, is to give it back to him for eternal life. Whatever there is of this life, we will lose it anyway. Anyone confronted with the presence of Jesus, would know immediately that it is him. The answering of our prayers too, leaves no room for any doubt. One simply knows it is of God.
Those with the holy spirit willingly humble themselves to his will, setting their own opinions aside. All in the spirit are of one accord. The peace of the spirit is so overwhelming that it is unexplainable to the natural mind.

These things coming upon the world are necessary as part of the plan of salvation and we are not to fear it, for we are told these things must come to pass to bring eternal peace to humanity. I for one will accept his plan as his spirit gives me understanding to follow in his will. All that is mine in body, earthly belongings, in spirit, and in all ways that is of me…is no longer my own, for it is freely given wholy unto the will of God, that it may be used for his purpose with total and absolute trust in all things.
It is explained to me that there are levels to heaven. That one must mature in the soul to belong to that level of heaven if you will. There is a spiritual body given to be at each level of heaven. It is also known that one can mature into these spiritual conditions while still in the flesh, yet there have only been twelve human beings that have reached all levels while still phuaically alive. One such person for example was Enoch. God transfigured him , taking him to himself.
It is my opinion that fomal religions are too corrupted to be useful to being in a growth relationship with God, and are merely a deteriment to this eternal purpose. As one would say…Religion is real lies going on. Well, my prayer was to know the truth I had to know, since I already knew I could not generate all the solutions to the issues life threw at me. Considering the background I already had, that would have taken a miracle, and in a way of speaking….I got one. The Lord most high God, spoke to my heart and it reached my mind ! He had to be gentle and very persistant by my comprehension, but I finally got the message. He teaches in the most comprehensive way I have ever known, by a simple prayer of crying out…”BUT THEY LIE” ! God certainly clarified a great deal for me, by opening my spiritual eyes to see better than I could ever have imagined….and mister, I’ve been places and seen things you wouldn’t want to be caught dead in.

    1. Another excellent diatribe. One of my ministers, an ex catholic, told me that you can’t catch fish with a baseball bat! I was raised catholic, but at 19 I started seriously searching for the truth. I finally found it at 47. I am 57 now, and considered a heretic when I brut the Book of Enoch, and 2nd Esdras to the little church I attend. All things are being revealed. I am the 7th son in my family and pray continuously that the Father will give me a way to convince my family that they should not pray to Mary or a dead relative.
It’s so hard to get them to listen, as the ones I love so much, great people, do not hear the truth when the Holy Spirit speaks or writes for me!

      Blessings brother, keep it up!

  6. absolutely catholics must not pray to Mary she is a human who died. The “saints”
as Jesus tells are born again christians not man made catholic saints.
Catholics have to repent of man made ritual, worship and idol following. I know
a lot who have given up catholicism and repented and now they are born again of the
Spirit and the Lord is revealing supernatural secrets to them as He does to all born
agains. Once they do this the bible (Jesus is the bible He is the Word) will be
“revealed” to them by the Lords power. Rosary beads, hail marys, praying to saints,
asking catholic priests for forgiveness etc…all these things are not of God. Please
catholics turn to Jesus so He can speak to you and show you His ways and so
you can see the kingdom of heaven at death. Otherwise you cannot. Purgatory
is pure fiction also – but heaven and hell are real.

  7. I was raised a Catholic. Not long ago, I was thinking about how we were taugth to pray to saints to intercede for us and the Holy Spirit said to me “How do you even know if they are in Heaven?”

Just because the vatican says they are saints, God sees all and judges the heart so someone you may think is in Heaven may not be. I only pray to God the Father, Jesus or the Holy Spirit.

  8. confesion to a priest is in the bible folks
john 20:21Again Jesus said, Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.
22 And with that he breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit.
23If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgive
the Catholics teaching on this is the teaching of Christ himself. confession to a priests is the work of the holy spirit.
(henry gruver does this.) I always wonder how a bible believing christian’s can miss this(like you want to) when this is plainly in the bible as much as i love you guys your wrong about confession, both the Greek orthodox the Latin roman church and the Coptic(catholic) churches all practiced this it goes back to the acts of the apostles where they confessed their sins to one another. Historical Christianity is the catholic church. both east and west. As for the rosary intercession prayers have also been said all the way back to the early church.

    1. Barnes Notes:

      John 20:23

      John 20:23

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

[Whose soever sins …] See the notes at Matt 16:19 Matt 18:18. It is worthy of remark here that Jesus confers the same power on all the apostles. He gives to no one of them any special authority. If Peter, as the Papists pretend, had been appointed to any special authority, it is wonderful that the Saviour did not here hint at any such pre-eminence. This passage conclusively proves that they were invested with equal power in organizing and governing the church. The authority which he had given Peter to preach the gospel first to the Jews and the Gentiles, does not militate against this. See the notes at Matt 16:18-19. This authority given them was full proof that they were inspired. The meaning of the passage is not that man can forgive sins that belongs only to God (Isa 43:25) but that they should be inspired; that in founding the church, and in declaring the will of God, they should be taught by the Holy Spirit to declare on what terms, to what characters, and to what temper of mind God would extend forgiveness of sins. It was not authority to forgive individuals, but to establish in all the churches the terms and conditions on which men might be pardoned, with a promise that God would confirm all that they taught; that all might have assurance of forgiveness who would comply with those terms; and that those who did not comply should not be forgiven, but that their sins should be retained. This commission is as far as possible from the authority which the Roman Catholic claims of remitting sin and of pronouncing pardon.

    2. Repent to one another… to your brother and not to a “go between” which is the whole point of this article. There are no priests in the NT until Jesus hands down these responsibilities to His people in the Millenial Reign when He restores the ancient Hebrew ways. Jesus is the “High Priest” acting as the mediator between God and man which is why the curtain in the temple tore after the cruxifiction. Repent to each other… not a priest. Unbiblical. Text without context is pretext.

  9. As a kid I went to catholic school and church, they actually had bibles in the pews back then 1960-70s.
I use to read the bible during mass and after, I remember reading john 20:23
and I understood then, to always forgive those who transgressed against me, only.
What ever else in sin in them was for they to repent of to God.
and it is also good to ask for forgiveness from those you have hurt too
no stranger can do this for you.

    Love takes guts

    1. Excellent! Born again Catholics make great Christians when they realize that they must read the Word. Charismatic Christianity started in the Catholic church.
As a born again, Spirit filled, ex Catholic, I have a powerful testimony!

      Bless you brother,
      George

  10. I was born and raised Catholic. I recently attended morning mass at my local Catholic church. The priest proclaimed to the congregation that the church will be prolonging the amount of time that priests will be available for confession throughout the week. He stated that this will provide people a “fast-track highway to Heaven.” Sadly, he is wrong because even if it were possible for a priest to be the intercessory for God to forgive us of our sins (which he can’t); we must not ONLY ask forgiveness of our sins. We have to also practice RIGHEOUSNESS. We must overcome all sin. What the priest should have stated was that he was going to be shortening the amount of time available for confession so that the congregation sins LESS. I am beginning to realize that that there are many aspects in Catholicism that do not reflect the word of God.

God bless this ministry and electronic ecclesia.

    1. Praise Jesus God bless you. The truth is that every church out there has problems, certainly not only the Catholic Church. In fact the Catholic Church encourages confession and repentance daily which is EXTREMELY important. The problem is WHO you are repenting too! It must be our Father God and His Son our King Jesus ONLY. No substitutes or stand ins are allowed. No saints are allowed.

Now what is MOST sad is that the spirit-filled churches are preaching “on-saved always saved” doctrine which is also NOT acceptable before God. If we could take the repentant nature of the Catholic Church and combine it with the “spirit filled” nature of the Assembly of God / Pentecostal church; arguably we would have a POWERFUL POWERFUL church.

Its not going to happen so all we can do is pray.

      1. I am sure the rapture happens AFTER the tribulation because of these verses: Mat 24:29    Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30    And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31    And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now, I have heard some say that these elect are the Jews being caught up, but that would mean there are TWO raptures, so no.

        1. God bless you but you are mis-interpreting Matthew 24:29

What this scripture is referring to is when Jesus returns to earth FROM Heaven with the saints for the end. Notice that it states he collects that saints (elect) from where? (…) from the four winds and from ONE END OF HEAVEN TO THE OTHER. Not the EARTH. This matches up with Jude where it states:

          Jude 14-15
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all
          NKJV

And in Revelation 19 where it states:

          Rev 19:14-15
And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
          NKJV

This happens at the end of the “Great Tribulation” for the war of Armageddon.

  11. Greetings,

All of the chatter lately on this page brought me to ask for some help. As I departed from Catholicism, I began to research deeply in order to find truth. I began to study the early Catholic Church. I stumbled over the “miracle of the snow.” The miracle according to pope Liberius stems from the supposed visitation of Mary. Pope Liberius built the first BASILICA dedicated to Mary because Mary “told” him to, reaffirming the location on one of the seven hills of Rome by the bringing forth of snow in a specific spot. However, pope Liberius, whom sided either willingly or unwillingly with the Arians belief system was in direct opposition to the trinity Godhead concept. Pope Liberius caved. My question is, “Is it really possible for Mary to appear?” She is not divine. She was a human. Holy? Yes. Compassionate? Yes. Pure? Probably. A sinner? Yes, absolutely. Does she have the authority to appear as many Catholics claim? The secrets of Fatima for instance… Or, is there a secret demonic infiltration associating her with all these supposed appearances? I just sense that there are secrets being hidden by the Vatican.

    Thanks.

    God blessed this ministry!

    1. I say this with great concern and deep warning. Lucifer can perform miracles just like God can perform miracles. Not all so-called “miracles” come from our Heavenly Father. ANYTHING that takes our eyes off a direct personal relationship with Jesus endaNgers our salvation. RUN FROM IT.

  12. Iam seeing pple here even arguing just get into a good Pentecostal church/Assemblies of God church
you will grow spiritually in Jesus Christ

  13. It’s good to hear others have left the catholic church. I left in 2011 and am so relieved to be out of there. I had been feeling empty there for many years and began searching the scriptures and the internet on the history and teachings of the catholic church. they are so apostate! They never encouraged people to really study the bible in any depth and the readings were never anything that went against their doctrines. I loved that church and it was hard leaving it but I wanted the truth and asked God to show me the truth and He sure did. I thank him often that He did and that I’m out of . I haven’t joined any other church body, I just prefer to read scripture on my own and listen to you and Pastor Paul Begley on the internet. God bless, you are doing a wonderful job. p.s. my family feels I’m so wrong and that I’m hell bound. It’s interesting that they won’t even hear how the catholic church contradicts scripture.

    1. God bless you Janice. Pray for your family that our Father will make them “rapture ready” in time to get out of here before things get unbearable. God bless you we are all in this together and our time is extremely short. We may have less than 2 years before we leave. God bless you.

  14. I found many answers to the questions I have also wondered about since I was a Catholic convert back in 1976.that was the beginning of a long time journey in knowing our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I do believe in communion, but I believe that communion can take place in any church and even on an individual basis, for example during your show on Friday night. As for praying to Mary as an intercessory for Catholics, I have stop doing this long ago. I to believe that there is only one way to God and that is through his son, Jesus Christ. If you want something from your mother or your father a child goes an ass that mother or that father. As children of God we two should go directly and ask our father in heaven for the things we desire and for all our needs. Also we should direct all our praise and gratefulness and longings to our father in heaven. Would a young child go to a neighbor to ask something that his mother can adequately give him? The Bible says seek and you shall find, ask and it shall be given to you. These are simple words that our father gave us along with the prayer our father who art in heaven. Why does our relationship with Jesus have to be so complicated, so divided, when all the answers are written in the word of God. If more Catholic who desire the truth would just read their Bible, like me Jesus will provide the answers. I love you shows. And all your guests and I thank you for all the knowledge I have gained.

  15. Correction: if a child needs help or attention, does he go to a neighbor to ask for help? No, the child goes directly to his mother or father. We too, should go directly to our father in heaven for all of our needs.

  16. Greetings….I respectfully ask everyone here…Catholic or not…to please explain the many apparent “miracles” that occur in the Catholic church, and to my knowledge, nowhere else. To wit: the preserved bodies of various nuns and priests, the miracle at Damascus, the liquification of the blood of martyred priest at ceremonies, the testimonies of Malachi Martin, etc. Am I to understand this is ALL the work of Satan?

Looking forward to reasoned and supported answers…not opinions without foundation.

    1. No absolutely not. God works miracles through the Catholic church as well as the Mormons, and other groups. Miracles happen all the time through thousands of churches and many of God’s people. God uses imperfect people. He loves ALL His people, not just Pentecostals, not just Baptists, HE LOVES ALLLLLL His people. But our individual practices MUST be Godly and must be in obedience and conformance with the Bible. We must SEEK God directly and learn the Bible by ourselves. The upper echelon (ruling authorities) of almost every denomination is full of darkness and infiltrated by Satan. Do not “ally” yourself with ANY church of earthly group. Place your heart and loyalty directly into Jesus and His WORD.

  17. (posting an email from Robert)

    Brother John-

Keep fighting the good fight !!! Prayer is the most powerful weapon in our God given arsenal !!!

I was raised a catholic by a wonderful (but misguided) Italian mother. I used to pray to all the cannonized saints …Anthony …Jude …Mary …Patrick …Joseph …many !

I spent a year (I boarded) in a catholic junior seminary (small case on c of catholic is intentional.) It was one of the coldest, godless places I have stayed. Extremely little Bible reference and totally incommunicado with mankind.

Keeping this short …after 60 years of life …and observing catholics (my very beloved but misguided family included) worshiping/praying to saints …I had an epiphany.

Again, prayer is our most powerful weapon in our God given arsenal. But, we are supposed to pray to God …not some dead (alleged) saint. They are dead until the resurrection of the dead. But, this is exactly what catholics do …to the extent of bowing/kneeling/praying at the graven images of the saints (what happened to the original second commandment ? …the catholic church changed it !!!)

If I were the devil …I would nullify the most powerful weapon in the Christian/catholic arsenal …prayer !!! How would I do this ? I would create canonized sainthood ..and direct Christians/catholics to pray to those dead (until the Resurrection) alleged saints. In doing so I have dead ended the effects of their prayer …a dead saint can do absolutely nothing (before the Resurrection) !!! The prayer is misguided/mis-targeted/misplaced …wasted.

So, canonized sainthood is a counter attack on the most powerful weapon in our God given arsenal …prayer. It successfully destroys (dead ends) the efforts (unfortunately often extreme/dire/desperate/sincere efforts) of Christians/catholics to communicate with their Creator. It is a tool of the devil/satan/lucifer to weaken his opposition.

I often use the following analogy when I talk to catholics (and others) who are trying to pray to (get the attention of) God …but are using the saints or Mary “queen of heaven” “star of the sea” (etc., i.e., Isis) as their intercessor.

… If you have a problem with a purchase in a store …do you want to speak to the store manager/owner ??? Or, his mom, or some low level associate ??? …Why wouldn´t you want to speak directly to the big guy ??? Why would you want to speak to anyone else ???

They understand what I´m saying …Pray direct !

Anyhow, some people understand who I am these days …and, some think I´m absolutely crazy …but a few more are slowly coming around …they are starting to understand !

    Praise Jesus !!!

Thanks for all your work John …Kenny …Cathy …and all others trying to spread the truth.

May you all be blessed in the name of Jesus Christ !

    Just sounding my horn !!!

    Vaya con Dios & thank-you.

  18. Hi, your right we as catholics should pray to God alone thru Jesus. I’m really thankfull that God helped me allot with my tests and one day I asked HIM to find a friend who is just like me and he did because I believe. I use to have none because I was bullied in middle school. Then he saved me spiritually because I cryout to HIM many times and satan start to make me believe I have commit The unforgivable sin.

  19. Repent, Repent, Repent. Pray, Pray, Pray to the father directly everyday and ask to recieve the holy spirit. It is real and will change your ways, you will be guided to walk in the fruit of the spirit and he will show you the truth. Peace and love be with all of you.

  20. Hi
The only way to Jesus is by turning away from our sinful ways and repenting from the heart and getting baptized under the water for the forgiveness of our sins and to receive the gift of the holy spirit which is promised by GOD. This is the only way of salvation for souls as mentioned in the bible John 3: 5. We have to believe that Jesus came into this world to die for our sins and by believing this we are saved. Doing all of this at once will make us a child of God instantly.

  21. Thank you for this wonderful, enlightning website. I am from mumbai, india-The land of idols. I too am catholic, but I don’t believe in the catholic church. Since I came to know that the catholic church is full of errors, I have stopped believing in their false doctrines. In 2006, I came to know about the Blood Of Jesus and what it can do for us. That built in me a thirst to know more about Jesus. Christian websites taught me more about Jesus and the Bible, than all the priests put together. I am thankful for people like you who have taken the pains to set up a website and educate christians the world over about The Living God. May your tribe increase. Thank you once again, Brother. Praise Jesus.
