Consider These Things
Avoid the Great Tribulation
The following is a letter emailed to a kind Catholic lady. I worry so much about people who might be “left behind” to suffer in the Great Tribulation. The Catholic people are some of the most wonderful Christians on the face of the earth but the Bible warns about some behaviors that might potentially cause them, because of their practices, to be “cast into” the Great Tribulation. I pray I am wrong, but my heart strongly tells me … I’m not.
Please prayerfully consider this email below:
This letter was a response to a nice lady who mentioned she is Catholic, mentioned rosary beads and referred to asking Mary for intercessory prayer:
Just to be sure, because you know I am super-passionate about *everyone* making the “rescue mission” (rapture), you do pray to God in Jesus name and talk to Jesus directly right? The reason I am checking on you is because I truly do care.
You are not allowed to say “Hail Mary’s” (that’s a type of prayer to Mary) …. you are calling (hailing her) and asking her to help you “pray” … Jesus considers that “fornication” or “idolatry”. I know that sounds harsh but unfortunately it is critical you realize this.
I don’t want to see ANYONE go into the Great Tribulation … its going to be horrible.
You see, all of the “saints” are dead people, including the Mother of Jesus Christ … Mary. Mary is simply a person who died. So are all the saints. If you do not confess your sins, and repent directly to the Father, in Jesus Name as it says in the Bible, (or to Jesus directly) you are “running the risk” of being cast into the Great Tribulation.
Many people believe, and I agree, that the Church of Thyatira (in Revelation 2:18) is referring to the people in the Catholic Church (metaphorically).
Here are the verses:
Rev 2:18-23
“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write,‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
NKJV“Sexual immorality” is a “metaphor” for praying to idols. This includes any time you see a priest and confess your sins, praying “Hail Mary’s” as a type of penance.
You cannot:
- Confess your sins to a priest
- Seek a “Saint” to help you pray as an intercessor
This is metaphorical “fornication” before the Lord.
You must pray *directly* to our Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus. Your relationship must be directly with Jesus Christ in person.
This is a proper prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father, please in the Name of Jesus, forgive me of my sins. I didn’t mean to do that and I promise I won’t do it again. I am asking you to help me with this problem I am having. In Jesus Name I pray …. Amen
You can also pray directly to Jesus if you want.
Dear Holy Lord Jesus, Please forgive me for this and that.
Look at what the scripture says about how to pray. This is Jesus speaking.
Matt 6:7-13
7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.(Note vain repetitions .. Mother Mary … Hail Mary … that is what this is referring too)
8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
NKJVAnd you should always end a prayer “In Jesus Name” (this is all over Acts and the Gospels)
Here are some prayers that the Lord gave a brother named Larry and people have been emailing me from all over the world on the amazing changes that have happened in their lives.
Rapture Prayers for Purification:
http://www.tribulation-now.org/rapture-prayers-for-purification/Please forgive me if you already know all these things, but my heart is breaking for people who don’t know this stuff and might be “left behind”.
God Bless You and again Thank YOU for your wonderful kinds words. Amen yes the Dimitru Duduman testimony is most astonishing.
Watch out for May 20th. Many people are suggesting it will be a huge global earthquake day … we shall see.
Keep watching and Keep Praying!!
God Bless YOU!!
John

Hi John,
Mary and the Saints are not dead. They are alive in Heaven. The Body of Christ is his followers on earth as well as the dearly departed in Heaven. Catholics don’t pray to Mary and the Saints. They ask Mary and the Saints to pray for them.
P.S. I Love your website and the work you do.
Your brother in Christ.
Michael Callahan
.
Hi by asking you are praying. Also by asking a “saint”, or Mary you are putting them above Christ.
JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE to pray to, as he can only hear you.
Priest cant forgive your sins as they are sinners just like the rest of us.
Mary was a virgin, when she conceived Christ, but she wasn’t after, because she had other children.
Rev 18:4-5
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Hi,
So you have never asked someone to pray for you? For instance someone is sick in your family and you say will you pray for them? They are not Father God and you are asking them to pray for you. Also Mary and the Saints are not dead they are more alive then they were here anyone who dies and makes to Heaven are 100% alive.
God Bless
You CANNOT ask a person who has died to pray for you. Sorry. Not allowed. God Bless You Too.
The bible teaches that “JESUS ” is the only way to “GOD”. 1 Timothy 2:5 (NKJV) For there is one God and “ONE MEDIATOR” between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. So if there is only one Mediator “me·di·a·tor (md-tr) n.1. One that mediates, especially one that reconciles differences between disputants.” Jesus between GOD and us. Then why do we not just believe the word of “GOD”! Also in Ecclesiastes 9:6 Indeed their love, their hate and their zeal have already perished, and they will “NO LONGER” have a share in all that is done under the sun.
Here “GOD” is telling us that when are life on earth is over we can never have part in anything that happens. This includes saints, Mary and uncle joe
Please believe the word of “GOD” and not what’s in our hearts. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Praise “GOD”
Amen Brother.
God Bless
John: You say that it is wrong to offer confession to a priest and seek forgiveness of sin yet Christ himself gave the apostles the power to bind and lose (Matthew 16:19). Is that not the power to grant forgiveness of sin in the name of Christ?
No brother. Sorry. You need to talk to Jesus directly and repent ASAP. It is absolutely critical. God Bless You.
Being in relationship with Christ is everything. To be holy for he is holy. We all have a spirit, yet only have an eternal soul once you enter into relationship with God by way of the son, and receive the copmforter, the presence of the holy spirit. He decides which gifts of the spirit you need. Those who ask of the father anything allowed in heaven, is given unto us in God’s own time. It has been my experience to watch my own mother develop over the years in her spiritual relationship with God, and who received gifts of the spirit, like tongues, which is for more intimate communication between them. At first, she didn’t want to speak in tongues, but after gentle persistance from the spirit…she did. The first dragon to overcome is the ego. One must first repent and wholeheartedly give over freely to the will of God, without reservation. The ony reason we have anything, is to give it back to him for eternal life. Whatever there is of this life, we will lose it anyway. Anyone confronted with the presence of Jesus, would know immediately that it is him. The answering of our prayers too, leaves no room for any doubt. One simply knows it is of God.
Those with the holy spirit willingly humble themselves to his will, setting their own opinions aside. All in the spirit are of one accord. The peace of the spirit is so overwhelming that it is unexplainable to the natural mind.
These things coming upon the world are necessary as part of the plan of salvation and we are not to fear it, for we are told these things must come to pass to bring eternal peace to humanity. I for one will accept his plan as his spirit gives me understanding to follow in his will. All that is mine in body, earthly belongings, in spirit, and in all ways that is of me…is no longer my own, for it is freely given wholy unto the will of God, that it may be used for his purpose with total and absolute trust in all things.
It is explained to me that there are levels to heaven. That one must mature in the soul to belong to that level of heaven if you will. There is a spiritual body given to be at each level of heaven. It is also known that one can mature into these spiritual conditions while still in the flesh, yet there have only been twelve human beings that have reached all levels while still phuaically alive. One such person for example was Enoch. God transfigured him , taking him to himself.
It is my opinion that fomal religions are too corrupted to be useful to being in a growth relationship with God, and are merely a deteriment to this eternal purpose. As one would say…Religion is real lies going on. Well, my prayer was to know the truth I had to know, since I already knew I could not generate all the solutions to the issues life threw at me. Considering the background I already had, that would have taken a miracle, and in a way of speaking….I got one. The Lord most high God, spoke to my heart and it reached my mind ! He had to be gentle and very persistant by my comprehension, but I finally got the message. He teaches in the most comprehensive way I have ever known, by a simple prayer of crying out…”BUT THEY LIE” ! God certainly clarified a great deal for me, by opening my spiritual eyes to see better than I could ever have imagined….and mister, I’ve been places and seen things you wouldn’t want to be caught dead in.
absolutely catholics must not pray to Mary she is a human who died. The “saints”
as Jesus tells are born again christians not man made catholic saints.
Catholics have to repent of man made ritual, worship and idol following. I know
a lot who have given up catholicism and repented and now they are born again of the
Spirit and the Lord is revealing supernatural secrets to them as He does to all born
agains. Once they do this the bible (Jesus is the bible He is the Word) will be
“revealed” to them by the Lords power. Rosary beads, hail marys, praying to saints,
asking catholic priests for forgiveness etc…all these things are not of God. Please
catholics turn to Jesus so He can speak to you and show you His ways and so
you can see the kingdom of heaven at death. Otherwise you cannot. Purgatory
is pure fiction also – but heaven and hell are real.
I was raised a Catholic. Not long ago, I was thinking about how we were taugth to pray to saints to intercede for us and the Holy Spirit said to me “How do you even know if they are in Heaven?”
Just because the vatican says they are saints, God sees all and judges the heart so someone you may think is in Heaven may not be. I only pray to God the Father, Jesus or the Holy Spirit.
confesion to a priest is in the bible folks
john 20:21Again Jesus said, Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.
22 And with that he breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit.
23If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgive
the Catholics teaching on this is the teaching of Christ himself. confession to a priests is the work of the holy spirit.
(henry gruver does this.) I always wonder how a bible believing christian’s can miss this(like you want to) when this is plainly in the bible as much as i love you guys your wrong about confession, both the Greek orthodox the Latin roman church and the Coptic(catholic) churches all practiced this it goes back to the acts of the apostles where they confessed their sins to one another. Historical Christianity is the catholic church. both east and west. As for the rosary intercession prayers have also been said all the way back to the early church.
Barnes Notes:
John 20:23
John 20:23
Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
[Whose soever sins ...] See the notes at Matt 16:19 Matt 18:18. It is worthy of remark here that Jesus confers the same power on all the apostles. He gives to no one of them any special authority. If Peter, as the Papists pretend, had been appointed to any special authority, it is wonderful that the Saviour did not here hint at any such pre-eminence. This passage conclusively proves that they were invested with equal power in organizing and governing the church. The authority which he had given Peter to preach the gospel first to the Jews and the Gentiles, does not militate against this. See the notes at Matt 16:18-19. This authority given them was full proof that they were inspired. The meaning of the passage is not that man can forgive sins that belongs only to God (Isa 43:25) but that they should be inspired; that in founding the church, and in declaring the will of God, they should be taught by the Holy Spirit to declare on what terms, to what characters, and to what temper of mind God would extend forgiveness of sins. It was not authority to forgive individuals, but to establish in all the churches the terms and conditions on which men might be pardoned, with a promise that God would confirm all that they taught; that all might have assurance of forgiveness who would comply with those terms; and that those who did not comply should not be forgiven, but that their sins should be retained. This commission is as far as possible from the authority which the Roman Catholic claims of remitting sin and of pronouncing pardon.

As a kid I went to catholic school and church, they actually had bibles in the pews back then 1960-70s.
I use to read the bible during mass and after, I remember reading john 20:23
and I understood then, to always forgive those who transgressed against me, only.
What ever else in sin in them was for they to repent of to God.
and it is also good to ask for forgiveness from those you have hurt too
no stranger can do this for you.
